I am reminded of a couple of lines from EAT PRAY LOVE:

A family had had 2 members die, and the author said what that family needs is grace. The author's sister said what that family needs is casseroles.

We'll have to see what Bob needs and what he's been going out.

I've been home early the last two days, due to low census. I'll probably be done by lunchtime Friday, but my first case is a booger, and I'm afraid there will be some xray overlap with another case.

We're going to Kingdom A&S this weekend. It should be fun. I always like looking at the entries. I like judging somewhat less, but it sounds like we may have as many or more judges as entrants. I had planned on entering but have misplaced my entry. Ah well.

I'm researching Alaskan cruises. It's a really financially irresponsible thing to do, but M is pushing to overlook my objections. Hopefully me and the ladies I'll be going with will make a decision by Sun night, so I can do whatever I need to on Monday. Should be the trip of a lifetime.

Work was superbusy in Nov and Dec, largely because patients had met deductibles and were trying to squeeze procedures in before the end of the year.

Now we're in January which I'm told is slow, along with Feb. What this means to me is that my hours get cut and my check gets smaller. More impetus to keep looking for another job.

Populace meeting tonight. Should be business as usual, though we're having treasurer reporting problems, so some smackdown will have to be laid tonight.

We have an event at the end of Feb. Should be okay, but I'm not expecting much.

Crown Tournament this weekend in Loch Soillier, that I might go to.

I'm working on a couple of articles I outlined or wrote a few years ago, that I might try to turn into a CA.

Did a respectable job of cleaning the living room and production room this weekend. It's not all done, but I can see the floor and see the big table. Yay me!

It's cold in SA! It's supposed to warm up starting tomorrow. Good - I like my Januaries in the 70s, thank you.

Everyone at my job who is talkative about politics are hardcore Republicans. If there are any Democrats, they are, like me, outnumbered and silent.

After the Obama win, it took until the afternoon, but that's when the racist jokes started. It made me upset and sad.
